How our care works

From first call to steady care.

A calm, coordinated onboarding — designed by nurses and refined over a decade of home visits across the GTA. Most families are receiving care within one week.

The 5 steps

Simple. Structured. Always led by a nurse.

  1. 1

    Free consultation

    Day 1 · 20 minutes

Call or request online. A care advisor listens, answers questions, and confirms whether ICCS is the right fit — with no pressure and no obligation.

  2. 2

    In-home assessment

    Within 48 hours

A Registered Nurse or Care Coordinator visits your home to understand medical needs, routines, safety risks and family preferences. You receive a written care plan.

  3. 3

    Caregiver matching

    1–2 business days

We hand-match caregivers by skill, language, culture and personality — then introduce them to you before the first shift so nothing feels like a stranger.

  4. 4

    First visit & onboarding

    Care begins

Your primary caregiver is oriented on-site. You receive a family portal login for schedules, visit notes, and direct messaging with the care team.

  5. 5

    Ongoing review

    Every 90 days

Your Care Coordinator checks in, refreshes the care plan, and adjusts hours or services as needs evolve — always with your input.

Our promise to families

Commitments we don't compromise on.

One point of contact

A dedicated Care Coordinator who knows your family by name.

No surprise pricing

Written estimates and monthly statements — never a hidden fee.

Same caregiver, whenever possible

Continuity is a clinical outcome, not a nice-to-have.

24/7 on-call support

A real nurse answers after-hours calls — not an answering service.
